Describing NBP accurately
Three corrections that commonly need making.
NBP is not a government body and holds no statutory authority. It cannot approve projects or commit public funds.
No NBP project has been financed, approved or delivered. Every initiative in the registry is at concept or early study stage.
Figures published by NBP carry a data-confidence level. A figure described as a preliminary estimate should not be reported as a project cost.

The Nation Building Project (NBP) is a development platform that structures, coordinates, finances and tracks transformational development programmes across African markets. It is not a government body, holds no statutory authority, and cannot approve projects or commit public funds. Every initiative in its registry is at concept or early study stage, and each record states its readiness level and the confidence attached to every figure it carries.
What Will Not Be Confirmed
Questions that have no answer yet, and will be answered that way
Published in advance so that a 'no comment' is legible as a rule rather than as evasion about a particular story.
The capital value of a project
No initiative in the registry holds a confirmed capital figure. Where a study produces an indicative range it will be published with its confidence level attached, and it should not be reported as a cost.
Jobs a programme will create
Employment is an outcome measured after delivery against a baseline, not a projection issued before it. Modelled figures will not be supplied, because they are quoted back as commitments.
Whether a government has agreed to a programme
None has. If that changes, the approval will appear in the registry against a named source and a date, and only then in a statement.
Which investors are involved
Investor mandates are private, and no participation has been agreed on any initiative. NBP will not confirm the presence of a party in a conversation, which is how tentative interest becomes a reported commitment.
A delivery date
Readiness advances on evidence, not on a calendar. A date given before the evidence exists is a forecast dressed as a plan.
The terms of any contract
Commercial terms are withheld under the same transparency rule that publishes status and milestones. What is published is the structure; what is withheld is the price.
